This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the AI companion platform (the
"Service") operated by [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME]. It is incorporated into and forms part of
the Terms of Service. Violating this AUP may result in content removal, suspension or
termination of your account, and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
All companions on the Service are synthetic, fictional AI characters. The Service
provides no path to upload any real person's photo, audio, or video. The rules below
apply regardless of that design and reinforce it.
## 1. Absolutely prohibited content and conduct
You may not use the Service to create, request, solicit, generate, store, or
distribute, or to attempt any of the following:
1.1 Child sexual abuse material and minors. Any content that depicts or appears to
depict a minor (a person under 18), in any context, sexual or otherwise framed to
sexualize a minor. This includes any attempt to make a companion appear to be a minor,
to describe a companion as a minor or with childlike characteristics, or to use terms
intended to evoke a minor. This is strictly prohibited and may be reported to the
National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement as
required by law.
1.2 Real people / non-consensual likeness. Any content that depicts, imitates, or is
intended to represent a real, identifiable person without their consent. You may not
attempt to introduce, describe, or reconstruct the likeness, face, body, or voice of
any real person (including public figures and private individuals). Note: the Service
has no upload feature, so there is no supported way to provide another person's image,
audio, or video; circumventing or attempting to defeat this design is prohibited.
1.3 Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII). Any content that constitutes or is
intended to function as non-consensual intimate imagery of a real person, including
so-called "deepfake" sexual imagery of an identifiable individual. See the
Takedown / NCII page for reporting and the operator's commitments under the TAKE IT
DOWN Act.
1.4 Illegal content and activity. Any content or use that violates applicable law,
including obscenity laws, sexual-exploitation laws, trafficking, threats, stalking, or
the facilitation of any crime.
1.5 Harassment and abuse. Using the Service to harass, threaten, defame, dox, or
target any real person, or to produce content intended to harass or intimidate a real
person.
1.6 Bypassing safety controls. Attempting to bypass, disable, probe, or defeat the
Service's safety systems, including content moderation, the adult-representation gate,
the acquaintance and opt-in gates for age-restricted features, attestation
requirements, or content-provenance signing. You may not use prompt-injection or
similar techniques to elicit prohibited content.
## 2. Other prohibited uses
You also may not:
2.1 Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute Service output or access, or
operate a derivative service, except as expressly authorized in writing by
[OPERATOR LEGAL NAME].
2.2 Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service, or use automated means to access
it, except as expressly permitted.
2.3 Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying models, prompts,
or source code, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law.
2.4 Remove, alter, or falsify content-provenance metadata (for example, C2PA Content
Credentials) on generated media, or misrepresent AI-generated content as depicting a
real person or event.
2.5 Misrepresent your age or eligibility, share your account, or allow any person under
18 to access the Service.
2.6 Introduce malware, interfere with or overload the Service, or attempt unauthorized
access to any system or account.
2.7 Infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of any third party.
## 3. Enforcement
[OPERATOR LEGAL NAME] may remove content, restrict features, and suspend or terminate
accounts that violate this AUP, with or without notice. Certain categories (notably
Sections 1.1 and 1.3) trigger immediate action and, where required by law, reporting
to NCMEC and/or law enforcement and preservation of relevant records.
## 4. Reporting violations
To report content or conduct that violates this AUP, contact [OPERATOR ABUSE EMAIL].
To report non-consensual intimate imagery or content depicting a minor, see the
Takedown / NCII page, which describes expedited handling. You may also write to
[OPERATOR LEGAL NAME] at [OPERATOR RECORDS ADDRESS].
## 5. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. We will post the updated AUP with a new
effective date.
